- cold pillows that I snuggle close during the night!
- a warm sweet man laying beside me, I am so thankful for my husband!
- the colors of the sky just prior to the sunrise
- dew on the windshield (soon it will be frost)
- early morning coffee with friends
- a great lecture at Weight Watchers (I needed the encouragement)
- smiling faces
- the purchase of some amazing artwork (Faye Hall is so talented!)
- a stopover at my kids house in the middle of the day
- a big kiss from my grandson
- hearing him say "Nanny"
- seeing the joy in my daughter's eyes as I take a peek at her first cooked TURKEY!!
- donating blood at the clinic
- hugs from co-workers
- being able to pray for people with needs/concerns
- a clean house
- campfires and starry nights
- sunsetting and beautiful pink and purple sky
- visiting with extended family (it has been too long)
- laughing about old times
- being able to cut my husbands hair
- almost ready to hop into bed, beside my sweet man, and with my cold pillow! Great combo!
- a chance meeting with my sweet friend Jo. (and that makes 50)
At this point in my life - I want to live FULLY for the Lord, in HIS strength and power. I want to live a life of gratitude and awe - saying "WOW, Thank YOU Lord" for each moment of each day. I want to embrace life with both arms no matter what comes my way, as God gives me strength and endurance and joy.

thankful for today (28 to 50)
On a person's post on Facebook, they wrote: What if all you had today was what you thanked God for yesterday. That made me think. I "THINK" I am a thankful person - but I also know that I take alot for granted. Perhaps we all do - I don't know. I just know that often I walk through each day - dawn to dusk and almost walk through oblivious of all that I have! SO today ... on the eve of Thanksgiving - I am thankful for: (I left off at number 27 last post)
